New Kanban goodies - toppers, decoupage, invertage and pyramage

Latest Kanban goodies in store at Foil Play include these lovely foiled and die cut elegant lady large topper sheets (had to be careful how I phrased that!), available in monochrome or full colour.
I also have a limited number of co-ordinating large (A4) cards, envelopes and inserts.
These cute bear and bunny aperture kits each contain an A4 sheet of foiled, flitter glittered and die cut toppers, co-ordinating foiled aperture card (same pattern as the background of the topper sheet, to produce an A5 card) and a white envelope. The topper sheet will produce one invertage project and one pyramage project.
There is a new flitter glittered deco lady decoupage sheet - Deco London, to join the existing Paris and Rome sheets. Kanban has also produced a range of Deco Milano card to co-ordinate with the deco ladies sheets.

Lazy Dayz - Ladies of Leisure - die cut decoupage

I love these new Lazy Dayz die cut decoupage sheets from Craft UK. They all feature ladies of leisure sitting back and taking it easy, while the men do all the work - quite right too :-)

New Disney die cut decoupage delights

Lots of new Disney die cut decoupage treats now in store at Foil Play - a new range of die cut traditional step by step decoupage and also new die cut pyramid decoupage sheets.
There are eight new sheets of traditional die cut decoupage, featuring:
  • Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger (two different designs);
  • Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy;
  • Fairies;
  • Peter Pan;
  • 101 Dalmatians;
  • Bambi; and
  • Princess Fantasy.
As the sheets are die cut, no scissors or cutting are required - all you have to do is pop out the shapes and layer them up with foam pads or silicone adhesive to create cute toppers for your card and craft projects.
More Winnie the Pooh designs feature in the new die cut pyramid decoupage range from Studio Light. Each sheet contains a 3D pyramid project and complementary design elements. Pop out all the different sized shapes of the image, then layer them on top of each other with foam pads or silicone adhesive, starting with the largest at the base and the smallest at the top, to create a 3D pyramid effect. As the sheets are die cut, no scissors or cutting are required.
Other designs in the die cut pyramid decoupage range include:
  • Some Bunny to love;
  • New baby;
  • Wedding;
  • Sympathy flowers;
  • Floral;
  • Motorbike;
  • Sailing ship;
  • Football; and
  • Darts.

Foil Play DT Challenge: foiled and glittered projects from Mrs D

Mrs D of the Craft Telly forum has produced this beautiful selection of foiled and glittered projects for the Foil Play Design Team Challenge.

Mrs D made the card above by 'colouring' in a peel off using a glue pen and oil on water marbled foil and glittering the shape of a flower in black glitter and holographic silver. She commented that she loved the effect of the oil on water as it shows so many colours.
The second card uses plasterer's mesh tap which is sticky on one side. The foil adheres to this very well and the mesh gives a trellis effect so using the foils is a very effective way to colour it. The flower is foiled in copper and holographic silver with black glittered foam pads in the centre. Mrs D stamped a small flower shape onto black and white shrink plastic then used a glue pen to trace the shapes and foiled one in silver and one in gold. When the gold one shrank the foil really glittered.
The third card was one Mrs D really enjoyed making. She foiled several rows of small foam pads in silver, oil on water and gold then drew a shape of a sunrise and foiled the sun in a mixture of gold and copper before filling in the rest of the picture with the mosiac type effect of the foiled foam pads. They really glitter but the effect doesn't show so well on the photo. Left over pads were used to accent the corners.
The fourth card was made using the plasterer's mesh again but this time foiled only in gold and secured with 4 brads. The dragonfly is stamped on acetate and the wings are foiled in gold and silver. The background is a mixture of all the foils used in a patchwork type effect which could look quite effective on an altered art type project.

Mrs D commented that her very favourite foil was the oil on water marbled effect which actually looked different depending on what colour of card you foiled it on to. The black marble effect one was more tricky to use and didn't come out as well as the rest. She was a bit unsure about the holographic silver as it may have been a bit too blingy but that wasn't the case, when applied. She especially liked the silver and crystal holographic glitters, as they give a gorgeous subtle sparkle with so many different colours running through them.

Thank you, Mrs D for these gorgeous projects!

New from La Pashe - Flippin' Women decoupage

New from La Pashe and hot on the heels of the very popular Flippin' Men, meet the Flippin' Women!

Flippin Women Decoupage is a fun, quirky new series of 3-D decoupage for card making & scrapbooking which features women doing their favourite things. Each sheet features a front and back image of a character - which can be made up either side of an acetate sheet, or suspended in an aperture card.

From shopping to yoga, crafting to bingo - the Flippin Women images are funny and original. And the really unique element is that Flippin Women decoupage actually flips around so you get front & back images.

If you'd like to see the sheets demonstrated in more detail, check them out on Ideal World or Create and Craft TV channels tomorrow between 2 - 4 pm.
