Christmas tree cards made from Kanban decoupage card kit

I managed to make three cards out of this beautiful Kanban Christmas Tree decoupage card kit. For the card above, I used an Kanban foiled A4 large card as the base card. I matted the main topper from the decoupage sheet in the kit onto toning green and gold card, and added the wreath, teddy and gift elements from the decoupage sheet to add dimension. A Christmas greetings topper and a ribbon completed the card.
The A5 card from the decoupage kit is above, I've mounted the chair, bow and greetings elements from the decoupage sheet with silicone adhesive to add dimension. I also added glitter highlights to the tree using a Sakura Quickie glue pen and green ultra fine art glitter.

The card below uses the tree topper from the decoupage sheet matted (with self adhesive foam) onto green and gold card and mounted onto a cream A5 card. A co-ordinating greetings topper finishes the card.
The Kanban kit that I used to make these cards is pictured below:
Each kit contains:
  • an A4 foiled & printed card creased to A5;
  • an A4 foiled, flittered and die cut decoupage sheet; and
  • a C5 envelope

Christmas Kinetic Card Kits from Hunkydory

Hunkydory very kindly sent me a big box of samples recently, and I enjoyed making up these Kinetic cards.
Each kit contains foiled and die-cut elements to make 4 luxury kinetic cards:
  • Four pre-scored "Mountains and Valleys" card blanks;
  • Four precision die cut A4 mirror foil sheets
  • Four precision die cut foiled A4 background sheets
  • Four foiled and die cut toppers with sentiments
There are no instructions included with this kit, but the cards are easy to make, based on the one illustrated on the pack front. The main thing to be aware of is that the layers on the middle panel of the card start with a patterned layer of card, all other panels start with mirror card. You can see that the base layer of patterned card is missing from the centre panel of the card pictured above, which was the first card I made before I realised this.
The Festive Dreams kit from which these cards were made is pictured below. There is also a Sparkling Scenes kit, which features beautiful scenes and die cut snowflake design backing card.
Foil Play stocks a wide range of goodies from Hunkydory, to help you to create beautiful cards, including die cut and traditional decoupage, die cut toppers, rubber stamps and more. If the name isn't familiar, you will probably have seen Hunkydory products on the Create & Craft TV shopping channel, presented by Cardcraft Plus.

Kanban: Lorelei Fairies, Woodland Matryoshka, Victorian Garden Stackers, Monochrome Shabby Chic

Lots of gorgeous new Kanban goodies are now in store at Foil Play, I've also stocked up on Christmas toppers, cardstock and embellishments. As always, at Foil Play you can pick and choose the designs that you like and will actually use, rather than investing in a huge kit. If you already have a kit, you might like to stock up on a few extra of the designs you particularly like.

First up is a selection of cute Matryoshka woodland toppers - including some gorgeous owls, birds, dogs and cats. Each topper sheet comes in a pack with a sheet of perfectly co-ordinating cardstock.
The latest Lorelei designs are her beautiful fairies - there is a selection of topper sheets and some lovely Fairyscape backgrounds, which could be used for a wider variety of card projects too, like the very popular winter and everyday Artscapes designs.
Shabby Chic is back - this time the popular topper designs have been produced in monochrome, with some very chic co-ordinating cardstock. The toppers and many of the cardstock designs are foiled in silver, some have silver holographic foiling as an extra special touch.
If you loved the jewel collection of foiled mirri card and paper when it featured on QVC, many of the designs are now available at Foil Play in colour co-ordinated twin packs of foiled mirri card and pearlescent paper. If you want to add a touch of glamour to your cardmaking, look no further!
Last but not least, check out these beautiful Victorian floral stacker designs. Most of the stacker sheets come in a pack with a sheet of perfectly co-ordinating cardstock.
I do have a few additional sheets of the stackers and co-ordinating cardstock (not released to general retail) available individually - these are limited in stock though, so please don't delay if you like the look of them.
