Anniversary card using Golden Oldies decoupage

I made this card for a ruby wedding anniversary - the recipients are just about speaking to me again now :-)

I used an A5 card, made by folding an A4 sheet of card in half, with a wide ribbon to embellish the edge. The decoupage is made from the Old Romantics sheet from the Paper Laughs range of step by step decoupage.

I layered up the decoupage using silicone adhesive and mounted it onto a backing of embossed hearts, made using a cuttlebug embossing folder and pink pearlescent card. The greeting was stamped using a HOTP stamp and embellished with a few heart gems, adhered using a Sakura Quickie glue pen.

Well, I love the card but if you had sent that to me on my ruby wedding I wouldn't have been speaking to you yet! I NEVER intend to look like that.
Great card, though. (Could send one to my sister!)

He hee - thank you Sheffy! I sent it to my brother & sis in law - after consulting my niece first, to be on the safe side :-)
