Redhotbed Christmas toppers and die cut decoupage

Lots of new Christmas goodies from Redhotbed are now in store at Foil Play!
There is a great selection, including die cut pyramid twister and stacker sheets and die cut decoupage sheets.
Also new is a selection of die cut tunnel decoupage sheets, showing indoor and outdoor winter scenes.
The sheet above contains oodles of die cut Christmas greetings, there is another die cut topper sheet containing larger sentiments.
Last but by no means least, there is a great range of new topper sheets, which are either foiled or flitter glittered. The range includes cute, vintage, contemporary and traditional Christmas designs.
The topper sheets are not die cut, so scissors are needed. They are great value, with each sheet containing a co-ordinating selection of toppers, greetings and other design elements.

Cards made with Kanban die cut topper sheets

I've been having a little play with a couple of the Kanban die cut Christmas topper sheets and these are some of the cards I've made so far.
All of the cards have been made using white A5 cards as the base, I've also used Brenda Pinnick papers for the backing papers - I thought they toned really well with the Kanban designs.
I trimmed all of the backing papers before adhering to the cards, to leave a small white border around the edges. For the first two cards above, I've used the trimmed edge of the red paper to make a paper ribbon for the green card, and vice versa. I've used four toppers from a the die cut Christmas Tree Brights sheet for each card, along with a strip of parcels from the co-ordinating card sheet.
The toppers on the third card are decoupaged from the backing card sheet and the greeting decoupaged from the die cut sheet.
The last two cards have a combination of toppers from the die cut sheet and a strip of Christmas trees from the backing sheet. I've added a card art greetings banner to the last card.
The two sheets that I used to make the five cards above are pictured above and below - I still have plenty of toppers and card left to embellish a few more cards!
The two cards below are made from last year's Christmas Morning die cut pyramage sheet, again teamed with co-ordinating Brenda Pinnick papers.
I made up the pyramage toppers and added mats made with oval nestabilities dies and matt and mirri silver card.
The greetings toppers on both cards are from the same die cut sheet, the one on the first card is mounted onto a thin strip of mirri card (us crafters don't like to waste anything!).
The sheet used to create the last two cards is pictured above.

Simple Christmas cards made with Dufex topper sheets

Here's a selection of very simple Christmas cards that I made last year, using various Dufex toppers cut from A4 topper sheets.
All the cards were made using blue A6 cards and the toppers were simply matted and layered using a mixture of metallic card and handmade papers.
On most of the cards I also used some of the Dufex Christmas greetings stickers which are available free, if you spend over £20 on your order from Foil Play.
Topper sheets generally are great value, as you can make many cards from a single A4 sheet, with added elements of your choice. Foil Play has a wide selection of topper sheets (some of which are also die cut), including:
The Dufex A4 topper sheets are particularly good value now, at only 79p a sheet - a great choice if you want to get started with a few quick and simple Christmas cards!

Another Patchwork Kingdom cutie!

From the talented Fabrizio to go with this cute chap, posted last week :-)

Fab made him from the original Patchwork Kingdom Christmas collection (the 3D decoupage sheet used is pictured below). He's been teamed with the co-ordinating backing paper and super stylish faux velvet Hot off the Press paper, and embellished with a liberal helping of Kanban bling - and co-ordinating pearls too on his skates! Thanks Fab for letting me blog about him.

Smiley Bears galore!

Lots of new Smiley Bears have arrived! You may have seen these cute characters demonstrated on the Create & Craft TV shopping channel, now you can select the individual designs of your choice at Foil Play.
The selection includes die cut pyramid Stackerz sheets (pictured top) and die cut Side Stackerz (pictured above), a new and unusual form of pyramid decoupage, where you build pyramid layers on either side of the main picture, giving a similar effect to invertage.
There is also a choice of die cut Scenics, each of which contains an invertage project.
Also new is a selection of traditional (non die cut) step by step decoupage sheets, each containing two projects and co-ordinating greetings toppers.
Last but not least is a selection of die cut borders and corners, to provide the finishing touches for your Smiley Bears and other craft projects.

Christmas cards made with moondust card and Kanban gems

Moondust card embosses beautifully - I had fun making these Christmas cards using a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Each of the cards is A5, made from a sheet of moondust card folded in half.
The top card has the gold moondust embossed topper mounted onto the same colour moondust card, embossed toppers on the other cards are mounted onto holographic card.
I used Kanban bling and pearl adhesive gems to highlight elements of the bauble embossing, and added stickers and Hot off the Press brad buddy embellishments to finish them off.
