What's on your workdesk Wednesday

It's July, so it must be time to get stuck into making Christmas cards - right?

I'm not the most organised crafter (as you can tell from the usual state of my work table!), but I do prefer to make a few Christmas cards now and then when the mood strikes, rather than end up with lots of pressure in December - although I have been there too! I've been playing with embossing folders and toppers and for once I have actually produced a few cards at the end of it - I'll blog them in more detail over the next week or so.

If you're curious about WOYWW, more details of what it is about and how to join in are on Julia's Stamping Ground blog. It basically involves snooping on other crafters' stash, and seeing what they are up to - great fun!

Love the cards on your desk :-) I'm with you on the Christmas card thing, last year was still making them on Christmas eve!!! Not good. So have been joining in with Susie's club http://dcdchristmasclub.blogspot.com/ and had already made a few in January.

Wow - are they all Christmas cards at the back of the pic - I'm so jealous, you've made such a good start. I will start thinking about mine in Sep, order materials in Oct, make in Nov, panic in Dec!!!

Aaaghh! Can't believe you've done so many C cards. I hate doing them and put them off until the very last moment because they seem to sap all my creativity...

Sure liked all the cards on the desk in the background. And the ones in progress are coming along nicely, too. Happy WOYWW.

Got to agree, better to make a few as you go along, than be in panic mode come November.!

Oh dear! I can't cope with the whole CWord thing till at least the second half of September! Anyway, I always hate the stuff I make any earlier than that - which is a good excuse not to start

Sorry I'm late calling in this week. I'm having a really manic week and even had to pop to see my elderly neighbour in hospital last night [only a 62mile round trip :-)].
Well done you making Christmas cards. I will prob make mine the week before Christmas :-)

It's odd about Christmas cards... I actually like to send the same Christmas card to everyone each year, so IF they should by chance save them, then they could be recognised for the year they were made.
SO, I tend to get a production line going and knock them off in double quick time.
What load of drivel I hear you say!
However it's great to get a supply made in good time, to sell!
