Spider-Man and 70 years of Marvel Comics A4 cards

I was very cheeky and asked to take photos of these two Marvel-ous cards when the agent for the products visited recently - thank you Alan!
Both are A4 in size, so these are cards designed to make a big impact! Both cards make use of the co-ordinating retro design backing papers, the top card also features a section of the coloured co-ordinating acetate.
The centre pieces for both cards have been created using Marvel step by step decoupage sheets. The images are designed for larger cards, and are quick and easy to cut out.
The decoupage sheets used to create each card are also pictured, along with the X-Men backing paper.
The Marvel range includes die cut twisters, die cut invertage and pyramage, traditional step by step large designs, coloured acetate and high quality retro design backing papers to produce a completely co-ordinated look. It includes a wide selection of designs, featuring Marvel favourites Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, X-Men, the Fabulous Four and more.

You can either purchase the sheets of your choice individually, or go for a multipack, containing all of the designs.

Cards made with Flower Fairies toppers

Here are a few cards that I made with Flower Fairies toppers - a few sets are still available as a free gift at Foil Play if you place an order for £20 or more.
I have matted and layered up all of the toppers using square or labels Nestabilities dies and self adhesive foam pads. The first two cards are 5 x 7 inch cards. I have rounded the edges of both the cards and the large matt - on the top card this is pearlescent card embossed with a cuttlebug die and on the second, a piece of handmade textured paper. I have added ribbon to both cards and a flower with a Kanban pearl gem centre to the first one.
The next two cards are 6 x 6 inches. The one above has been covered with a Hot off the Press paper and a toning tag added. The one below has been covered with a DCWV paper and embellished with a self adhesive Anna Griffin paper ribbon.
Flower Fairies toppers (pictured below) are available as a free gift option at Foil Play if you spend over £20 or more.
If you spend over £20 in a single transaction, visit the free gifts section of the website, and just add the gift of your choice to your order basket. The offer applies to website purchases only, while stocks of individual gifts last.

Strictly Come Dancing card from Hunkydory

Here's a topical and fun card that I made using a Hunkydory die cut decoupage sheet - Dance Romance from the Not Strictly Dancing range.

I popped out the decoupage elements from the die cut sheet and layered them up using self adhesive foam pads. I matted the decoupage topper using co-ordinating yellow cardstock and mounted it onto a 5 x 7 inch Remake card from K&Co. I finished the card with a strip of card in a complementary colour and a greetings topper.
Foil Play stocks a wide range of goodies from Hunkydory, to help you to create beautiful cards, including die cut and traditional decoupage, die cut toppers, rubber stamps and more. If the name isn't familiar, you will probably have seen Hunkydory products on the Create & Craft TV shopping channel, presented by Cardcraft Plus.

Get well card made with Le Suh decoupage

Traditional step by step decoupage can be very therapeutic. I enjoyed cutting out the decoupage elements for this simple Get Well card, made for a German Shepherd dog owner. I layered up the elements using self adhesive foam pads.

I used an A6 pearlescent card, and matted the decoupage topper onto silver mirri card. I finished the card with a self adhesive Anna Griffin ribbon border and a peel off greeting sticker.
The Le Suh decoupage sheet that I used to make the card is pictured above.

Foil Play stocks many Le Suh decoupage sheets, covering a wide range of subjects and occasions. Each Le Suh sheet contains two traditional step by step decoupage projects, which fit beautifully onto standard A6 sized cards.

More Christmas cards made with Hunkydory die cut toppers

Some more cards made using Hunkydory die cut toppers, this time from the Christmas Wish sheet, from the Christmas Wishes range.

I used the largest topper and a greetings topper from the sheet on the 8 x 10" card above. I covered the card with Hot off the Press papers, with dark green organza ribbon over the join. To finish off the card, I added a couple of swirls, die cut from gold mirri card and adhered using a Sakura Quickie glue pen, which is great for sticking all sorts of fiddly items.
The topper used on the card above is half of a tag topper - I added a ribbon bow to cover the silver circle in the top left hand corner. The card is a 6 x 6 inch card, covered with a pearlescent paper. I matted and layered the topper using rectangular nesties and finished the card using an organza ribbon, tied in a bow.
The very simple card above was made using a deckle edged 6 x 6 inch card. A picture and greeting topper have been mounted onto it using self adhesive foam pads, with a co-ordinating ribbon bow added to the picture topper.
The cards above and below are both 5 x 7 inch cards, covered with Hot off the Press papers and embellished with green organza ribbon. The toppers have been mounted onto mats made using long rectangle nestabilities, and the foiled greetings are from Hunkydory Christmas greetings die cut topper sheets.
The foiled and die cut Hunkydory topper sheet that I used to make the cards is pictured below.
Each topper sheet contains a selection of picture and greetings toppers for your card craft projects, so you can make several cards from each sheet. Toppers can be matted and layered or mounted with foam pads or silicone adhesive for extra dimension.

Say it with flowers! Cards made with Redhotbed die cut decoupage

I made these two pretty floral cards using Redhotbed die cut decoupage. The cards are 5 x 7 inch Remake cards from K&Co, I thought the colours complemented the decoupage designs.

I made up the decoupage toppers by popping out the elements from the die cut sheet and layering them up with foam pads. I then matted and layered the toppers using co-ordinating cardstock. I finished off each card with a Card Art greetings banner.
The Redhotbed die cut decoupage sheet that I used to make the cards from is pictured below.

Comic book heroes - a Marvel-ous card with the Fantastic Four

I made this fun card using a Marvel step by step decoupage sheet. The images are designed for larger cards, and are quick and easy to cut out.

The A5 card above is made from an A4 sheet of Prussian blue pearlescent card folded in two. I matted both the decoupage and greetings toppers onto silver mirri card before mounting them onto the card.
The Marvel decoupage sheet that I used to make the card is pictured above.

Christmas cards made with Hunkydory die cut toppers

I had fun making these Christmas cards, using the Hunkydory die cut topper sheet In the Snow, from the Christmas Festive Fantasy range, which features a unicorn and foal.

I used the largest topper and a greetings topper from the sheet on the 8 x 10" card above, the card is covered with a Basic Grey paper. I embossed some white pearlescent card using the Cuttlebug snowflakes folder, and edged it using straight peel off border stickers. To finish off the card, I added a couple of swirls, die cut from silver mirri card and adhered using a Sakura Quickie glue pen, which is great for sticking all sorts of fiddly items.
I thought I'd go for an alternative colour scheme on the card above, using a 6 x 6 inch backing paper. The topper is mounted onto light blue card and silver mirri card, the mats made using rectangular nestabilities. The topper used is half of a tag topper - I added a ribbon bow to cover the silver circle in the top left hand corner. To finish the card, I added some toning grosgrain ribbon and co-ordinating flowers with brad centres.
A very simple card - the 6 x 6 inch card has been covered with a toning backing paper and finished with a dark blue organza ribbon tied into a bow.
The cards above and below are 5 x 7 inch cards, covered with co-ordinating Hot off the Press papers and the toppers mounted onto mats made using long rectangle nestabilities. I embellished the card below with a stamped swirl, and rounded the corners of the card using a corner chomper.
