Flippin' Women - Bingo themed card

I made this card for my friend to give to his Mum, who celebrated her 90th birthday earlier this year.  The recipient loves playing bingo, hence the theme!

The main elements I used to make the card were:

• Bingo decoupage from the La Pashe Flippin'  range;
• Bingo themed peel of stickers; and
• Birthday greetings from a Kanban die cut topper sheet.

I used an A4 cream card. With a large oval scalloped Grand Nestabilities die, I cut an aperture in the card, and also in a sheet of A4 white card. After securing the acetate to the inside front of the card, I overlaid it with the white A4 card to cover up the adhesive and neaten the inside.

After decorating the card with the decoupage and peel off sticker elements, I added a rosette as the finishing touch, made from gold mirri card using a Tim Holtz die.

Here's a picture of the birthday lady - having just been presented with her card - at the Bingo hall, of course!

New from La Pashe - Flippin' Women decoupage

New from La Pashe and hot on the heels of the very popular Flippin' Men, meet the Flippin' Women!

Flippin Women Decoupage is a fun, quirky new series of 3-D decoupage for card making & scrapbooking which features women doing their favourite things. Each sheet features a front and back image of a character - which can be made up either side of an acetate sheet, or suspended in an aperture card.

From shopping to yoga, crafting to bingo - the Flippin Women images are funny and original. And the really unique element is that Flippin Women decoupage actually flips around so you get front & back images.

If you'd like to see the sheets demonstrated in more detail, check them out on Ideal World or Create and Craft TV channels tomorrow between 2 - 4 pm.
