Crafty Notions metallic gilding flakes and embellishments

Foil Play is now stocking another great range of products that you may have seen on QVC, this time from Crafty Notions. The new goodies include high quality Twiddleybitz laser cut chipboard embellishments which can be painted, stamped or decorated in many other ways, adding a touch of luxury to your crafting projects.
Rainbow Drops are small flat-bottomed translucent gem like droplets which add the perfect finishing touch to card, scrapbooking and other papercraft projects. Attach using Craftynotions glazes or other clear craft adhesive.
Gilding flakes, as demonstrated regularly by Dawn Bibby on QVC, can be used in many ways. You don't need to use a texture sponge when applying the flakes to a dry adhesive (such as double sided adhesive film or Crafty Notions craft adhesive) - just apply a tiny amount of the flakes at a time and rub them in gently. Any leftover flakes can be saved again and reused - these flakes will go a very long way.

Kanban Colour and Classic Textile collections - QVC TSV

If you loved the luxurious look of last week's QVC craft TSV from Kanban, but didn't want to invest in the whole kit, you can now treat yourself to the sheets of your choice from Foil Play. I have limited quantities of both pastel and regal colour options in stock at present. These designs aren't generally available yet, it will be at least a month before they are released to retail.
The Kanban Textile collection is a sumptuous selection of foiled and embossed reflective card, die cut toppers and papers, all beautifully co-ordinated. Go on - why not treat yourself to a few sheets for stroking purposes, or even to actually craft with!

Kanban goodies galore, die cut toppers, decoupage kits, card and more

A huge selection of the latest new goodies from Kanban is now in store at Foil Play - and I do mean huge!

Firstly two sheets of lovely Easter themed foiled and die cut topper sheets, with co-ordinating easter egg and daffodil patterned backing card.
For those elusive male cards, there is a selection of vintage train and car stacker sheets. Each sheet contains a die cut 3D stacker pyramage project with co-ordinating backing panel and greetings toppers.
For the ladies, there is a delicious selection of Shabby Chic die cut topper sheets and co-ordinating background card.
Check out the new stylish ladies foiled and flitter glittered die cut topper sheets. You can use the edges of these sheets with four panels of ladies as borders.

Kanban die cut Concept cards, toppers and Egyptian range

Foil Play now offers a gorgeous selection of goodies from Kanban, including Concept cards, die cut toppers, Pyramage sheets and Egyptian themed products.

Concept cards featured as part of a recent TSV on the QVC shopping channel. There is a wide range of cards available, in both foiled and non-foiled finishes, for a variety of occasions.

Each pack makes one finished card, with extra die cut elements to use on other projects. The sheets are die cut, so no scissors are needed - all you need to complete the card is your choice of adhesive.

If you are new to card making, the packs will enable you to make stunning cards quickly and easily. For experienced crafters, the packs can be used with other products, to create cards on a more advanced level.If you'd like to add a little extra sparkle to your cards, why not add a bit of Kanban Bling - mixed colour packs of 3mm or 5mm round self adhesive sparkly gems.

There is a huge selection of die cut foiled toppers to choose from, many of which are particularly suitable for male cards.

The Egyptian range has been launched to co-incide with the return of the Tutankhamun treasures exhibition to the UK, and has also featured on QVC.

There is a choice of die cut toppers featuring Egyptian Icons: Tutankhamun (of course!), Bastet, Queen Nefertiti and Egyptian Goddesses along with a choice of co-ordinating backing papers, card and self adhesive ribbon borders.

I made the card above using the Bastet die cut toppers. One topper is matted and layered on mirri card and toning card. I have decoupaged the cat only from another identical topper, and mounted it on top with self adhesive foam pads.

I embellished the edges of the card with metallic moon confetti, and mounted a gold moon under Bastet's collar with an adhesive foam pad, to add a little extra dimension.

The background of the card features the Egyptian Icons backing paper, whilst the foiled border with gold hieroglyphics is taken from the middle of the Bastet die cut topper sheet.
